Panasonic has launched its first smart phone with 4G support in India, the Panasonic Eluga L 4G, priced at Rs. 12,990. The smart phone will be available in India via both online and offline retail stores. India is a market where next-generation technology in the form of LTE (Long-Term Evolution) exists. On 4th May, 2015 with the fast paced technological innovations and advancements in the mobility segment, Panasonic has introduced a new wing to its smart phone series “ELUGA” in the Indian market. Equipped with top of the line hardware, the ELUGA smart phone series is known for its design, superior build quality & unique user interface for single hand operation.

Panasonic has been introduced keeping in mind the concept of #TAGLIFE which resonates with the sentiment of the youth and calls out for a powerful message that echoes and communicates their personality, thus enabling a change in the Smartphone landscape.

It sports an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash and, while it also houses a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smart phone includes 8GB of inbuilt storage that is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).

The Panasonic Eluga L 4G runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and supports dual-SIM (4G+3G). The smart phone is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM. It features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with OGS. The smart phone sports Corning Gorilla Glass on front and rear panels.

Apart from 4G network support, connectivity options on the Eluga L 4G includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS and 3G. The company touts that the smart phone sports a thickness of 6.1mm. Unfortunately, there is no word on battery capacity on the smart phone. The Panasonic Eluga L 4G will be available in Radiant Blue color.

Panasonic is a very well-known name all over the world, but they’re definitely not the first company you’ll think of when it comes to smart phones, tablets, etc. Panasonic is, however, trying to make it in the smart phone market.

This handset has now launched in India for Rs. 12,990 ($205) which is absolutely decent price for the offerings it has made. The Panasonic Eluga L 4G is not a high-end offering by the company, but it’s a very well built mid-ranger. The Eluga L 4G features a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) IPS OGS display along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. This thing is powered by the Snapdragon 410 64-bit quad-core processor which ships with an Adreno 306 GPU. The 8-megapixel camera is located on the back of the device, while there’s a 5-megapixel shooter available on the front side of this device. The 2,000mAh battery is also a part of this package, and same can be said about 4G LTE connectivity. Android 4.4 KitKat comes pre-installed on this handset with some of Panasonic’s touches added on top of it. The device measures 142 x 71 x 6.1mm and weighs 110 grams.

Our final word for Eluga L 4G is it is a fast 4G support phone with very well features and hardware though KitKat is in it instead of Lollipop is thing we are greatly concerned about.

It’s economical and well designed phone and can go up to great heights in segment of budget phone.
